VIP personal trainers Rachel Sanderson and Steph Rice are expanding  Busy Woman's Fitness Project, their unique brand of ‘no ego’ female fitness training in the North West, thanks to funding support from BFS.

Steph and Rachel, who have trained a number of high profile clients including singer P!nk and journalist Tina Brown, quit the rat race in 2004 to launch Busy Woman’s Fitness Project (BWFP) in London, working from The Sanderson Hotel and Champneys Health Spa.

Now the duo has brought their women-only fitness and nutrition services to south Manchester and Cheshire with an already thriving fitness community in Heaton Moor, Stockport. The BFS support will enable them to expand into other areas, to fund additional equipment and to invest in marketing and promotion.

BWFP also benefited from business planning and growth strategy support from the Business Growth Hub, another part of The Growth Company, working with Columb O’Shea, an access to finance specialist

BWFP’s services include outdoor women only fitness bootcamps, one-to-one personal training, nutrition coaching and supper clubs. Rachel and Steph also run BWFP Corporate Wellness which provides fitness, nutrition and lifestyle bootcamps to businesses across the region, delivering coaching packages that are tailor made to boost the health, fitness, mental wellbeing and productivity of a workforce.

Future plans for the business include the publication of a healthy lifestyle book, the launch of the first BWFP exclusively female luxury weekend retreat (UK and then abroad) and the continued growth of the personal training team across East Cheshire.
